There’s something comforting about starting again, especially when you let go of the pressure to do it perfectly.
This series, A Year of Trying & Rediscovering, is about giving myself permission to explore new interests, revisit things I once loved, and slow down enough to notice what actually brings me joy. If I’m being honest, I’ve realized that sometimes my hobby is actually finding new hobbies, and not always sticking to them. This series is my gentle way of holding myself accountable – not through rules or timelines, but by showing up and reflecting on what I’m actually trying.
Some things will be small, like journaling or finding a new favorite cafe. Others might be bigger, like traveling somewhere new or redefining personal routines. The point isn’t consistency or productivity, it’s curiosity and intention.
Over time, it’s easy to drift away from the things that once grounded us. This series is my way of coming back to them, one experience at a time, and giving myself space to stay a little longer.
You’ll see this theme woven into posts about journaling, stationery, outfits, beauty routines, travel, and everyday moments that feel worth remembering. Each entry is simply something I’m trying (or rediscovering), and reflecting along the way.
This isn’t about becoming a new version of myself.
It’s about reconnecting with the parts that already exist, and committing to them just a little more thoughtfully.
Thanks for being here as I try again 🤍
